I redesigned The Hired Download, a monthly email newsletter for candidates sharing career advice and the latest jobseeker content. I updated a design that was previously text-heavy and only visual through icons. This design represents a more organized take that sections off content and is easier to skim.
The results? The redesign increased the percentage of clicks by about .10% and reduced the average unsubscribe rate by .10%. Keep in mind the scale of the emails going out is over 65,000. The seemingly minimal percentages mean a lot more clicks and far fewer candidates opting out of this newsletter!
